Our Austria Ski Season Opener is designed for advanced to expert skiers who are seeking top-level coaching. 

Five days of training in extra small groups, with an average of four participants per coach.

This camp will run with either 8 participants and 2 coaches or 12 participants and 3 coaches.

The coaching team of Anna, Patrik and Klaus will use this opportunity to work with a small, select group of skiers in an ideal training environment to kick off the season in the best possible way.

As in other SOFA SKI CAMPS, we will be doing a lot of filming and will swap groups, team coach and experiment with new ideas we have always wanted to explore but never had the time or resources for it.

All participants stay at the Alpinhotel Berghaus where they will enjoy comfortable rooms, a perfect spa for recovery and excellent food. We will train for five hours each day on snow, and will study the video of the day at the hotel after the skiing.

REGISTRATION

Alpinhotel Berghaus:

For the duration of the camp, we have reserved a selection of room types at the Alpinhotel Berghaus, located in Tux just 5 minutes by car or ski bus from the base station of the glacier lifts. Once your place in the camp is confirmed, you will be referred to the hotel to book your room.

All room categories include ¾ board (breakfast buffet, afternoon snack, and multi-course dinner).

Prices for 6 nights (excluding EUR 16 guest tax):

  • Single Room: EUR 876

  • Double Room M (single use): EUR 1,071

  • Double Room M (double use): EUR 811 per person

  • Double Room XL (double use): EUR 935 per person

About the Hintertuxer Gletscher:

The Hintertuxer Gletscher is one of the best glacier ski resorts in Austria and my personal favourite. Reaching up to 3250m it usually offers great ski conditions already in November. In recent years, we’ve often experienced some of the best skiing of the entire winter here during this month. While weekends can get busy, the slopes are much quieter Monday to Friday,which is why we’ve scheduled our camp during the week. HOW TO GET THERE: The most convenient way to get to Hintertux is by flying into Zürich, Munich, or Innsbruck, then either renting a car or taking the train to Mayrhofen. From there you could take the local bus or taxi for the last 17km.

The Team:

Patrik Walter and Anna Greuter are both examiners in the Tiroler Skilehrerverband and part of the Silvretta Guides Ischgl. Since 2021 they have worked together with Klaus in the SOFA SKI CAMPS Ischgl, which are held in November and April in Ischgl.
