We’re already planning our return to the Hokkaido Powder Belt for 2026 and can’t wait to welcome both returning and new faces.

What’s planned for next season:

• Camps are likely shifting to Monday–Friday instead of Sunday–Thursday

• A new optional warm-up day on Sunday with our coaches and guides

• More flexible travel days and additional options coming soon

Japan is the place to be if you are after some really deep snow. Working in partnership with SOFA SKI CAMPS, we will work hard to help you boost your ski performance and will enjoy playing in the famous Japan Powder.

In the Furano region, there are 5 different resorts that are very close by (within an hour drive). We will go and explore the different ski resorts (guaranteed 2 different resorts in the 5 days), depending on the weather and snow conditions.

Nordica Test Centre

We are running our own fully exclusive ski rental service. Leave your skis at home. Your coach will decide for you what ski is the most suitable for the day. We will bring your skis to the slope for you so you only have to click in and enjoy the day skiing on well tuned machines 😉

We use our Nordica Test Centre also as our meeting point for the information evening and private video study hub. That makes it very easy for everybody to find us off the slopes.

SOFA SKI Chalet

No stress in looking for accommodation. Stay at the SOFA SKI Chalet 200 meters from our Base the Nordica Test centre. We are renting a beautiful house in the center of Kitanomine.
4 double bedrooms can be booked from Saturday to Saturday. All the skiers that stayed at the Chalet in 2024 had a really good time. The house is set up very well so you can have your privacy while making new friends in the big common areas. Let us know if you are interested and we will sort out your accommodation. 

PROGRAM OUTLINE

Meet and great: 6:00 PM Saturday – We welcome everyone and sort out your equipment if needed.

Start time: 9:00 AM Sunday – all other days will be agreed on the day before

Meeting place: Furano Kitanomine Gondola, SkiSportAdventure Hub on powder safari days.

Duration: 5 hours coaching for 5 days, Sunday to Thursday with Friday/ Saturday optional Cat ski day

Group size: Max 6 participants of similar ability per group

Levels: Intermediate to expert skiers

Participants for each week are selected by Hansjörg and Klaus. We put together teams that are similar in ability and goals. As soon as we have enough participants of similar ability, we send you an email and confirm your camp. Once this happens you can start to plan. Registering for a camp is non-binding. If you are considering to train with us then, then please fill out the form and we can let you know what training options we would have for you.

 Once we have a found a group for you we will ask you to pay a deposit to confirm your booking.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY SKI CAMP?

We understand unexpected events can happen. Here are our terms and conditions in case of a cancelation.

• Up to 2 months before camp: full refund.
• Up to 1 months before camp: refund excluding deposit ($1000.- AUD)
• Less than 1 months before camp; Last minute cancelations no refund.
• If you have to cancel last minute. We would like you to claim your money back via your travel insurance.
• Lift tickets will be fully refunded at any time.
• If there is a waiting list for your booked week, we can negotiate a refund.
